Winkhaus STV magnetic release MV AV3 5009111

The magnetic release ensures the automatic release of the swing bolts on Winkhaus AV3 multi-point locking systems. The magnetic release is inserted into the angled strike plate of the main lock case. Care must be taken to ensure there are no steel reinforcements in the door frame that could interfere with the magnet. When the door is closed, the magnetic contact with the locking mechanism automatically releases and locks the swing bolts. The magnet has the advantage that, unlike mechanical releases, it does not produce any grinding marks or noises when the door is closed.
